Inspired by the aesthetic of the William & Mary period popular in the United States during the early 1700’s, this jewelry box both pays it respects to the traditions of classical period furniture while bringing an updated modern twist in terms of its Quilted Maple wood selection and incredible green finish. Perched upon delicately hand turned trumpet legs and cross stretchers, this jewelry box contains 3 different compartments floored in black crushed velvet, in an octagonal body with a secret compartment in the lid, covered by a hand engraved plaque. This box is made from solid rare quilted maple and imparted with a 2 part dye technique to emerald green. Finished in shellac. Approximate dimensions 14”L x 8”W x 10” H.
