I feel like a new chapter is beginning to open for me and it has my head absolutely swimming with ideas and possibilities 💥💥 Combining beautiful stoneware ceramic medallions from my most awesome collaborator Sharell @mudandyarn, solid brass accents, and New England air-dried black walnut, this functional art serving board plays off the sculpted negative space, almost touching on the steampunk aesthetic. This design was probably my 10th iteration trying to come up with something I liked, sometimes it's SO DIFFICULT to come up with something fresh and exciting that you like. YES, the medallions spin revealing the inlaid initials of a very special couple who will live with this piece long into the future!
