A beautiful EveryDay Tray where I let Nature be the ultimate designer. This tray exhibits one of the most beautiful pieces of Oak I have ever seen, and entrusted to me by my good friend Dwayne Chenney (@woodenlaser on Instagram or www.slabstitcher.com). It’s fairly unusual to see Oak become curly like this, and certainly not to this degree. This piece of wood is literally one in a million. The disorganized cellular structure leads to indescribably beautiful patterns, visual interest, and chatoyance. The tray frame is made from ebonized Red Oak. Finished in food safe shellac and/or wax. Approximate dimensions 14”L x 8”W x 1”H.
